Conpak Participates in CIFTIS 2026, Supporting Chinese Enterprises in Their “Going Global” Journey

From 9 to 13 September 2026, the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) 2026 was held at Shougang Park in Beijing. As a national-level comprehensive fair for trade in services held during the first year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period, this year's CIFTIS attracted participation from 90 countries, regions and international organisations, with more than 1,800 enterprises exhibiting onsite. Bringing together leading stakeholders from across the trade in services sector, the event promoted exchanges and cooperation across a wide range of industries.

Conpak was invited to participate in this year's CIFTIS and, as part of the Business Services theme, exhibited in the "Going Global Service Enterprise Exhibition Area". During the event, Conpak showcased a number of research findings focused on global expansion and shared practical insights through its case study "Compliance and Tax Planning for Chinese Enterprises Going Global". Focusing on the key issues encountered by Chinese enterprises expanding overseas, Conpak provided professional support for enterprises pursuing international growth opportunities.

Supporting Enterprises Going Global: Practical Insights on Compliance and Tax Planning

As Chinese enterprises accelerate their global expansion, increasingly complex overseas regulatory environments have made internationalisation far more than a matter of market development. Today's enterprises must navigate investment structures, overseas compliance, cross-border taxation and global capital allocation alongside their expansion plans. As enterprises expand into overseas markets, establishing a robust, efficient and compliant framework for cross-border operations has become a key consideration in their international growth journey.

Against this backdrop, Conpak shared practical case studies at CIFTIS, providing a systematic overview of the key risks enterprises may encounter throughout the journey from outbound investment to cross-border operations. Conpak also delivered in-depth analysis on topics including Outbound Direct Investment (ODI) compliance, Hong Kong economic substance requirements, the Foreign-Sourced Income Exemption (FSIE) regime and Double Taxation Agreements (DTAs), offering valuable insights for enterprises seeking to build a more sustainable and resilient path towards international growth.

Professional Expertise Backed by a Global Perspective

Conpak's participation in CIFTIS represents another step in its ongoing commitment to supporting the international expansion needs of Chinese enterprises. Leveraging its professional expertise and global service network, Conpak continues to provide tailored professional support for enterprises expanding into overseas markets.
