S Pass (SP)
SP allows skilled foreign employees across all nationalities or citizenships to work in Singapore.
Employers are subject to a quota limitation, and they must pay a monthly foreign worker levy for each SP holder they employed in Singapore.
Eligibility
- Have a job offer in Singapore
- Having a fixed monthly salary of at least S$3,150 that is comparable to the top one-third of the local associate professionals and technicians (APT) workforce by age
- The employer is to purchase and maintain medical insurance for each SP holder
- Medical insurance costs cannot be passed on to them
Duration of the pass
- First-time candidates: up to 2 years
- Renewals: apply within six months before the pass expires, the duration of the renewed pass is up to 3 years
How to apply
Either by the (1) employer directly or (2) an appointed employment agent who does so on behalf of the applicant.

- Copy of the candidate's passport personal particulars page
- Company's latest ACRA business profile
- Candidate's educational certificate(s)
- Candidate's resume
- Employment agreement / Letter of Offer issued by the company
- Application form
