Jointly Holding the “Fun Day with the Disabled” Spring Festival Gala

With golden snake dancing, people welcome the Chinese New Year in laughter and cheerful voices. On 8 February 2025, more than a dozen members of the Conpak Volunteers joined the elderly from the Cheung Hang Rehabilitation Centre under the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Lady Maclehose Center in the "Fun Day with the Disabled" Spring Festival Gala.

This is the first time that the Spring Festival Gala has restarted after the epidemic. Volunteers accompanied the elders to do rehabilitation exercises and play Chinese drums, handed out lucky bags and watched the Chinese drum performance prepared by the elderly. Afterwards, the elders and volunteers went to restaurant for a New Year Meal and celebrated the Spring Festival in a warm and harmonious atmosphere.

This event conveyed not only holiday wishes, but also care and companionship to the elderly, wishing them good health and good luck in the New Year.
