Having A Day Out with Elderly from HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre

Conpak Volunteers used to have a day out with the elderly in every autumn, which was suspended in the past two years due to the epidemic. But recently, since the situation has been brought under control, we set out again with the elderly from HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre on 20 November 2021.

During the day, we visited Tai Tong Organic EcoPark and experienced Organic Farming and DIY Cup Mat Workshop there. Both the elderly and the volunteers had a great time, taking pleasure in making cup mats and tasting the local village basin meal. The elderly enjoyed spending time with our volunteers and were looking forward to the next activity.

As the saying that unity of knowledge and action leads to conscience, we are deeply gratified through interacting with the elderly and seeing the smile on their faces. We look forward to organizing more activities for them in the future.
