Overview

Nevada, the seventh largest U.S. state, situated near the west coast of the United States, is an important bridge and goods storage centre between the central and eastern United States. Nevada is called "Nevada, USA West Coast". At present, about 10,000 new companies are set up in Nevada every year. Nevada has no agreement on intercommunication of intrastate company tax-payment data with other states, and therefore can avoid the American federal government gaining access to tax-payment data of Nevada companies through this channel. There is no personal income tax or corporate tax in Nevada, so if a company does not operate in the United States, it will not pay federal income tax.

Nevada companies can be divided into three categories: C Type, S Type and LLC. "Limited Liability Company (LLC)" is the company type most often registered by foreign investors.
